IN LOVING MEMORY.........

After nearly 10 years as part of our family it was finally time to say goodbye to the old reliable car! I really think we got our money's worth out of that poor car, it only had 262,000 miles, and the only thing we had ever done to the thing was oil changes and a new battery! You can tell by looking at it that we didn't even pay to get the hood painted the right color!! I think the most depressing part was taking it to the salvage yard and only getting $150.00 for it! Now all that car is good for is parts!?!?!? The salvage yard must not have known that it was close to being an actual family member!!

It's Field Trip time!!

Aubree's little preschool took a very fun field trip to the pet store! Aubree will tell you that we went to the "very stinky" pet store. I will agree with her on that!!



They had huge turtles that they just let wander around the store. Aubree thought that was pretty cool.

Luckily we made it out of the store without Aubree wanting any sort of new animal! Score for mom and dad!!!

Yahoo, Easter pictures are finally up! The kids had a great Easter. Of course everyone had a blast coloring Easter eggs. I only have one stain on my floor to show for the fun we had while coloring!!


Last Saturday was Dallin's last soccer game of the season. He LOVED playing, he was on a fun team with a coach that he really liked. So of course he wants us to sign him up again for next season!




Aubree and her friends from preschool had a field trip to Safeway. Now everytime we drive by, she has to remind me that's where her field trip was. Just in case I forget!! Her favorite part of the field trip was the big trash compactor!




The kids have been asking us for quite some time to take them to fly kites. We kept waiting for it to get warm......but finally gave up waiting for warmth. We dressed them all in there nice big winter coats and headed to the park to fly kites. Aubree and Breggan only lasted long enough for me to take pictures, then we waited in the car because it was FREEZING! No it wasn't February when we took them to the park, it was the last day of APRIL!!

Plus sides of pregnancy!

As I have layed in bed for the last four days, with the flu. I decided to challenge myself to come up with 10 things that I enjoy about pregnant. Because I know it's so easy to find reasons that I don't enjoy being pregnant. Especially when I know this is probably the last, I'm trying much harder to enjoy this pregnancy! So here's what I came up.........


#1 I love the close parking spots reserved for expectant mothers!
#2 Hearing the baby's heartbeat for the first time.
#3 Seeing the baby on an ultrasound, and finding out the sex!
#4 Fast growing nails.
#5 Fast growing hair.
#6 Laying in bed and "watching" my stomach dance all around.
#7 Seeing the excitement of a growing baby through the eyes of my kids.
#8 Feeling the baby moving all around.
#9 Hearing the giggles of my kids as they get to feel the baby move.
#10 Knowing that after 9 months I will finally get to hold this baby!!

Tag, I'm it....Four things you may not know about me!

#1 I'm TERRIFIED of flying on airplanes!!



When we moved here to Liberty Lake, Bill's work would have paid for us to fly here for a house hunting trip. But instead of having to fly, I decided I would rather load all 4 kids in the car and drive 18+ hours! Sooner or later I'm going to have to get on a plane, or my husband and family will see the world without me. So I'll have to find some good meds!!

#2 I LOVE listening to 80's music!



I know pretty pathetic....I was pretty excited when I found the 80's station here in Spokane!!

#3 I HATE HATE HATE public bathrooms!


I will travel from here all the way to Utah, while being pregnant and NEVER go to the bathroom. (I know just what everyone wanted to know about me!)

#4 I have NO big tonails!
Just ask my kids they love to point it out to everyone. I had one to many ingrown toenails as a kid so the Dr. finally killed all the nerves (or something) so they would never grow back! Had I only know then how badly I would miss having toenails, I probably would have put up some kind of fight! It's just not the same wearing flip-flops with UGLY toes!

SCORE!!

Saturday was the first game of the season for Dallin. Dallin made it an extra special first game of the season by scoring his first goal ever!! Way to go Dallin!



What a smart kid Dallin is. A number of times after the game Dallin would ask for things, such as lunch at Mcdonalds and ice cream just to name a few. Then he would let us know that it was "his first goal ever"! We were so proud of him that of course we had to give him a few of his wanted items!!
