It's A .....................

On St. Patrick's day, we celebrated by having green milk, and an ultrasound. (I know an ultrasound has nothing to do with St. Patrick's Day!)

We told the kids that we would let them know after they got home from school whether it was a boy or girl. They actually had to wait until FHE. They were going crazy by this time! For FHE we sent them on a treasure hunt for clues that might help them guess the sex of the baby! The final clue included balloons and confetti falling from the sky. But they still didn't have their answer, because they had to pop all the balloons and find the one little piece of paper that said..."IT'S A GIRL!!" It was so cute, the kids were jumping around screaming "it's a girl". Even Dallin who had wanted a boy seemed pretty excited. (I of course video taped the evening, but didn't take pictures. And I'm not technical enough to put video's on here!)
It may be my 5th baby, but I still got pretty emotional at the ultrasound. When you see this tiny baby that weighs 7 oz's wiggling her fingers and toes and opening and shutting her mouth, it's so amazing to me!! She's so perfect!! Here are a few of the pictures!!!

(That's her umbilical cord resting nicely on her shoulder!)

Now the fun of shopping for a baby girl gets to begin!

At our house, Fridays are always fun!!

You know it must be Friday when:

#1 The kids are excited for bedtime
#2 All 4 kids are up "late" to watch movies (late to them is anytime after normal bedtime of 8!)
#3 You can find snacks and treats of all kinds being ate by the kids, around the kids, and on the kids!
#4 You can hear the pleasant snoring of 4 little kids
#5 You must leap onto the bed, so you don't step on any of the sleeping kids

Friday nights have become a tradition at our house. The kids LOVE to sleep on our floor. Sometimes on holidays they are lucky enough to sleep on our floor also. Dallin was trying to use Martin Luther King Jr. day as a reason to sleep in our room, we had to let him know that this holiday was not a reason enough to be in our room!

The family on wheels!

Last Wednesday was our Stake family skate night............

Madellyn finally got a hang of it by the end of the night. She has now asked every single night since last Wednesday if we can go skating again! She LOVED it!!!

Dallin also had a great time! His wheels were tightened so much that they didn't move! So he thought skating was a piece of cake. He was able to go around the skate floor a million times by himself! We'll see if he likes skating as much next time when we get him wheels that move!

Aubree thought skating was pretty fun a few times around. But then after that she just enjoyed the slide they had. She didn't want her skates off, just incase she wanted to go again! So she kept climbing all over the play area/slide with her skates on. I'm lucky she didn't break something!!

Last there was Breggan. Don't think that because he is small he wasn't going to join in the fun! Who would have thought that they would have had skates small enough for Breggan! He LOVED skating!! (Poor Bill had to stay bent in half to go around the floor with him!)

Valentine's Day....almost a month late!

Both Madellyn and Dallin had very fun parties at school.

I took Aubree, Dallin, and Breggan with me to Madellyn's party. I was amazed that they came home with just as many cookies and treats as Madellyn did!

Breggan went with me to Dallin's class party and thought that school was the greatest thing ever!

I guess I'll wait a few years before I tell him that schools not just donuts and cupcakes!!
